Die Markers:
Obverse: Stage A: SW-NE die scratches through the ETH II in ELIZABETH II. N-S die scratches behind the neck and below the hair. Stage B: Die scratches behind the neck are no longer visible. Die scratches through ELIZABETH II still present. Multiple die gouges inside the first G in D G REGINA.
Reverse: Stage A: NW-SE die scratch between the N and T in CENTS. E-W die scratches below the second A in CANADA. Stage B: Die scratch in CENTS no longer present. Die scratch under CANADA is weak but still present.
