Doubled Die Obverses

Designation Description Image
SDDO-001 Doubling to the southeast on the nose.

Die Markers:
Obverse: Multiple die gouges northeast of the designers initials JNF. Multiple die gouges between the D in GOD and the W in WE. Multiple die gouges between the chin and the lower lip.
Reverse: Large die gouge below the right side of the N in UNUM. Die gouges around the tall left window. Die gouge inside the upper portion of the E in FIVE.

SDDR-001 The bottom of the triangular window and the ceiling of the doorway are doubled far to the south. Very similar to SDDR-020, compare doubling and die markers.

Reverse: Stage A: Die gouge between the tops of the E and D in UNITED. Die gouge to the right of the E in E PLURIBUS UNUM. Stage B: Stage A markers still present. New die gouge to the right of the column right of the doorway. Stage C: Stage B markers still present. New die gouge between the I and V in FIVE.
