D/D East
Comments: I would like to see an example of this die in earlier die state to determine if the area of doubling to the lower east is a true RPM or a well placed die gouge or scratch. The examined coin was in later die state.
Cross-References: CONECA: RPM #3
Die Markers:
Obverse:
Lower vest abraded away. Innumerable die scratches crisscrossing throughout the obverse.
Reverse:
Numerous mostly north to south die scratches throughout the reverse. Strong die scratch directly south from E in UNITED.
