D/D Tilted West
Comments: The doubling is similar in character to WRPM-001. I would like to see an example of this die in earlier die state to determine if the area of doubling to the northeast is a true RPM or a well placed die gouge. The examined coin was in later die state.
Die Markers:
Obverse:
Die gouges inside and to southwest of the date. Die scratch south from the center of the W in WE to the head. Die scratch NE from the upper left side of the Y in LIBERTY. Light die scratch running north to south directly behind Lincoln’s head.
Reverse:
Die chips in the lower area of the first bay.
